My work is conceived as different series.  Below is information and selected images of several of the series; if you want to view more images in that series, click on the "see details" button below the image.

Tondos:   One format my work takes is that of the tondo, or round relief, often found in Italian Renaissance architecture.

Scatola:  Another format I use is that of the box.  The notion of container is very important for the still life objects that are precariously balanced on the top of the box.  Boxes suggest that what is within is precious. (Scatola is Italian for "box".

Navires: This series emphasizes the vessel and its importance as a form throughout the ages.  I like to challenge the viewer with the dimensionality of the vessel – is it 2 D or 3 D? (Navires is French for "vessel").

Karika/Kupa:This newer work originated in an artist residency at the International  Ceramic Studio in Kecskemet,  Hungary.   The work evokes the vessel but hopefully begins to transform  it in the mind of the viewer to a more abstract form and suggests interesting relationships. (In Hungarian, Karika means "plate" and Kupa means "vessel.")
